The ultimate entrance
An RK pivot can dramatically change your home, wider, taller and more visually assured than a conventional front door, it becomes part of the architecture rather than simply an opening within it.
A pivot door allows larger door leaves to open with a smooth, controlled action, creating a distinctive sense of arrival.
Every RK pivot door is individually designed and made to order so your door is unique to you, our design team can work with you to create a completely bespoke pivot door for your property or you can use our online design tool to see what your imagination can create.

EXTRA LARGE PIVOT FRONT DOORS

Exceptional entrances
Pivot construction makes it possible to create an entrance with a scale that they can be opened to 90 degrees in both directions, this enables a wide and impressive route into the home.
Our standard pivot door size is 1,400 mm wide by 2,400 mm high, for luxury homes, architect-designed new builds and exceptional renovation projects requiring more dramatic proportions we can create doors up to 2,000 mm wide by 6,000 mm tall.
Sidelights and fanlights can also be incorporated within a single frame construction, allowing the complete entrance to be considered as one architectural composition.
For new-build projects, involving RK early gives the architect and construction team the greatest freedom to coordinate the opening, threshold, surrounding materials and access requirements.

BESPOKE PIVOT DOORS
A pivot door that is uniquely designed
Scale alone does not make a distinctive entrance. RK pivot doors offer extensive design freedom, across panel design, frame colours and finishes, glazing, handles and entry systems.
We have styles for all house types including period homes with Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian and you can even create your own vintage style all benefiting from our modern aluminium construction techniques.
Handle styles range from discreet recessed details to full-height feature handles with integrated lighting, together with traditional brass ironmongery for traditional pivot door styles. Fingerprint entry and smart-home access can remove the need for a conventional key while preserving the simplicity of the door.
Selected options can be explored in our online door designer, while our design team can develop more individual designs directly with homeowners, architects and interior designers.

ARCHITECTURAL SURFACES
Finishes with depth and character
A pivot door provides an exceptional canvas for colour, texture and material. Options extend from RAL colours and convincing wood effects to ceramic and liquid metal finishes created specifically for high-end architectural projects.
Our ceramic finishes are inspired by stone, concrete, oxidised metal and dark mineral surfaces. Their depth and subtle variation are particularly effective across the generous proportions of a pivot door.
For something more individual, RK has an exclusive partnership with ANKA Bespoke for hand-applied liquid metal finishes. Made using real metal, these surfaces have the tonal variation, texture and richness. Available in some truly unique finishes such as architectural bronze, copper, brass and other specialist metals. Because each finish is applied by hand, no two doors are ever the same.
Frames, handles and the internal face can be specified to complement or deliberately contrast with the exterior, allowing the door to connect the architecture outside with the interior design scheme.

A ceramic front door is an aluminium entrance door with a premium ceramic finish applied to the face of the door. This creates the appearance of a refined architectural surface, such as stone, concrete, oxidised metal or dark mineral material, while retaining the strength and performance of an aluminium door system.
A conventional front door is supported by hinges along one edge with th hinges fixed at the side of the frame.
